The Department has recently conducted research in the following areas:

Research and development of technology for integrated processing of raw materials with minimal impact on the environment.

Waste-free ash processing technology for power plants has been developed and implemented which provide producing the coal concentrate and aluminosilicate raw materials of regulated composition.

Development of a thermodynamic method for describing various technological processes.

A thermodynamic method for describing the flotation process as well as a thermodynamic method for calculating the impact of various processes on the environment has been developed.

The topics of the published work are closely related to the scientific work of the Department. The articles of the Department staff are widely published in various bulletins: collections of scientific papers, technical publications, abstracts, etc.
